Dr. Stan Beecham is a sport psychologist and director, and founding member of the Leadership Resource Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Beecham needed a website to promote his books, speeches, and all his endeavors. He reached out to the team at Splice Creatives to handle the job, and the challenge was accepted. Below is the design layout and the User Experience process we took to create Dr. Beecham's site.
Finding Visual Style
Once a layout is decided upon, I develop the visual style, choosing fonts, a color palette, and other visual aspects to make the design stand out.
Hi-Fi Prototype
Once all the content was gathered, the visual style and initial layout were decided, and I developed a high-fidelity prototype using Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator. We delivered a design without interactivity for design approval. We iterated until design approval. I like to involve the web developer even more at this point. Together, we make decisions about interactivity and design. Once the design is approved, I deliver the files with any necessary notes to the developer.
